Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1. To prepare students for successful careers in industry, research and institutions of higher learning in Mechanical Engineering.
PEO2. To enable the graduates to become innovators, Entrepreneurs to meet the needs of social, technical and business challenges.

  • Engineering Knowledge: Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering for the solution of Mechanical Engineering problems.
  • Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences
  • Design/ Development of Solutions: An ability to Design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, health and safety, ethical, manufacturability and sustainability.
